   THE VAC NEWS.......FOR.....JULY, 2005

COMMANDERS MESSAGE

May 30th.........Memorial Day........a day set aside for remembering our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends and neighbors, all of those who gave their all for our country and the American Way.  Although for many of us we think of our loved heroes everyday, but whether you do or not, Memorial Day is the day given for memorializing them.  So, on May 30th, no matter what you are doing, be it Memorial Day ceremonies, parades, visiting grave sites, or just spending it with your family, please stop and think of those American heroes who we could not bring home alive.
                            Your Commander, Gregory C. McNeill
