          "AROUND THE CAPITOL" 

     The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 500 is pleased to announce that they will be hosting the Veterans Day Parade around the Capitol on Sunday, November 12 at 1:00 PM.  The theme of the Parade is “HONORING OUR HEROES......PAST AND PRESENT”.

            You too, can join the City of Sacramento in sponsoring this event to honor all Veterans and those actively serving.  Show your support for Veterans that have served to protect freedom in the past and those who continue to fight for the freedom of others and the protection of our homeland.

            The Vietnam Veterans of America, is a non-profit organization consisting of Vietnam Veterans and Associate members.  VVA500 acts as a resource center for all Veterans.

            Your business or organization can help defray Parade costs by being a sponsor. Or you may show your personal support by helping sponsor this event. Sponsorship donations assist our organization by helping with the Parade costs.  Funds after expenses are distributed to High School Music Departments to assist in costs of bringing the High School Bands to the Parade and also to Student Military Units when they assist in the execution of the Parade.
